You have to understand this is called "development".  when "launch" comes, the development stage is supposed to be over, not in the middle somewhere.  You see, all games go through these stages, the difference is, when most other companies get to the "launch" stage, they launch the game, and its either done or requires a day one patch. They don't release it and then start really working on it.  It all boils down to pure incompetence.

Ok... So that's why all huge console releases suffer of poor optimisation on the current gen.
Oh, wait... That was PC...

What you say was true the last generation but only top tier PC's are significant more powerfull. What you also don't realize is that servers are a bottleneck quit often, so for that there is not a big gap between PC and consoles anymore.

Wasn't the intention to move to UE5 for better performance?  I need to lower settings that the graphics look worse than they did than in ASE and half the framerate.

I bet the console version is delayed because they can't get a smooth 30fps from it.   Meanwhile ASE worked at 60fps on XSX/PS5 and the graphics were good enough.  If they wanted to make quality of life changes to the game they could have done that.   Instead they "remaster" it in UE5, but it is no secret that UE5 performs like hot garbage on even the best hardware.

It's very clear man, very simple and clear lol

the bigger the project, the more problem it might have that you can not expect, the more freedom you need.

coding and game development is not like making a movie or drawing where u can have a clear estimate coz so many unexpected can happen. giving a clear date simply mean you are putting a big pressure and possible disappointment on the line.

 

Ofcourse, they could say something like 20 or 30th November, give themselves a big gap of time so they are sure they can do it in that time, but if they think they might do it earlier, giving such a late time is just gonna make people mad.

o jogo ta lindo mais, sinto - me frustrado por não jogar no meu playstation 5 :( não gosto desse sentimento, é a pior sensação.

Por favor não faça isso novamente, é bom sempre adianta bastante, para as coisas que pressisa fazer no console antes de lançar, para não ocorrer novamente isso..........
