Postosuchus "Crocodile from Post" Resistant King. No-dismount

Suggestion

The Carnivore that can finally not be bothered by any dismounting abilities of other dinos, it will be the basi of the earth. A slow but formidable tank, that could care less about your Shadow manes dismount attack, or the jellyfish of the sea, this mount will protect you at all costs, after being tamed.

Wild- It is a lazy slow moving carnivore, think alligator sunbathing. It will only move from its sunbathing spot if disturbed or attacked. Normally other dinos don't attack this basking giant, as its thick hide is resistant to mostly everything that comes up against it, along with powerful jaws that can clamp down on nearly anything it can get around.

Taming- To tame this creature you will need to throw down either Prime fish meat, Prime meat, or mutton. Be careful as one you throw down meat in front of it, any postosuchus's in the general area will come running over to get a bite, and will enter a state of feeding frenzy, much like piranhas, if you are unlucky to be caught in the cross fires, I hope your tribe members have something written down to say at your eulogy (thats if their able to recover your body). They will follow you like a pack of dogs on a three legged cat, if you're not wearing ghillie.

Tamed- Congratulations you tamed it! Two legs? check. Two arms? check. Still have your fingers and toes, okay good. Now you have a beast of a mount, much like a turtle. It is heaviliy resistant to most secondary attacks by other dinos. Bleed only works if the dino can reach an artery, but given its thick scales and hide, that's nearly impossible (unless you're the Indominus Rex and just flip it over). As for the other secondary attacks, like fire, lightening, and poison it will be resistant up 100 percent for the first hit, and as its hit more and more, it's resistance will dwindle all the way down to zero like a normal creature, as even the tankiest creatures can only take so much. When it comes to the shadow mane, and voidwyrms attack, and Cnidaria that would normally stun and dismount a rider, your postosuchus will walk through the attack unbothered, with you riding on its back, thanks to its special saddle design and its general nature, the only way you can by taken off your postosuchus is if you want to get off. When dealing with micro raptors it will rear and catch the micro raptor in its jaws, making it a one hit kill on micro raptors. Even though its size wouldn't constitute it to be immune to yutis, the only roar that has an effect on him is the shadowmanes buff, and the yuti's buff roar.

Other attributes- It will be slow, a not so fast creature for sure, its health pool will be large, but if you want it to heal quickly you will need to let it bask in the sun, daedons and snow owls won't help you this time, nor will force feeding it.

Other mentions-

It could have the ability to use its jaws like a bear trap, as its used to basking and generally staying still for a long time, one could latch only any creature within its weight class and hold it still, some health will be lost on the creature it holds, but the creature won't get away, (it won't be like the kapro that can snack on whatever it has in its mouth)

It can also have a bipedal mode, where it gains an extra attack at the expense of speed.

A speed buff by hitting water, much like the spino.

A tail attack that slams its tail to the ground to do torpor damage.

Postosuchus - Wikipedia all the features of its skull are based on real life, its hooked teeth cause bleeding, its large jaw is very powerful, its special sensing organ is realistic.

Wild

Postosuchus Webbinae is quite an extraordinary carnivorous bipedal early dinosaur. Found in the deep of the swamps, Postosuchus is very territorial and lives in basks of family members, usually from eight to twelve members. They are devoted to protecting a clutch of eggs, hidden in an old tree stump. Both males and females defend their young brutally, intimidating or attacking nearby creatures to defend their brood.  It is about the length of a Triceratops and the height of an Iguanadon (Long crocodilian iggie basically) What is special about these animals, however, is their skull.

Postosuchus has a specialized vomeronasal organ which enables it to detect creatures at a long radius. It also has very sharp eyesight, so attempting to fire at one of them will result in your location being pinpointed (Long aggro range) Shooting firearms at one of them will cause the whole bask to scatter, but they will come back as soon as you get near one of their eggs.

Domesticated

Postosuchus is a very difficult creature to domesticate. It has too deep of a family bond to succumb to a simple tranquilization. Their eggs, however, will be considered infertile once removed from their natural nests. This results in having to firstly dispose of the family members surrounding the nest, then cooling the nests without the mother's natural care (dimetrodons or snow owls, the egg needs to be in the nest at a low temperature) Be wary, however. Eggs of Postosuchus are a delicacy in the animal world, and any predator spotting the unguarded nest is prone to attack. (Rage debuff like a rare flower to eggs, will try to eat the eggs. This is like defending an orbital supply drop from extinction, will spawn dinos to attack the nest.) This is by far the most efficient way to tame Titanoboa, and perhaps a certain large relative may enjoy the treat too. (Basilisks can be tamed with egg) The egg holds an extraordinary taste for the most enticing of kibbles, but the real treat is the dino itself.

Tamed Postosuchus is a great pack hunter. After basking in the streams and rivers (Spino Water Buff), It can be a formidable enemy due to its elongated jaw like that of a large therapod. Its bite force rivals that of the Tyrannosaurus which makes up for its rather small size (strong bite attack with bleed). Due to its fragile skin, (HP of a spino) a special armored saddle is utilized by some tribes, to protect against the bigger threats, however it can be ridden without it. (Armored saddle, made of metal and provides 60 armor as a primitive, but has durability) As mentioned previously, Its vomeronasal organ allows it to share info with the rider of nearby threats or allies (tech suit tracking when ridden). It can also detect nearby threats much like the Parasaurolophus due to its amazing eyesight. Close ties with family members allow a pack boost when nearby other related members (only activates when near a creature of blood, such as a mate or a sibling. EX. will not pack boost with a different postosuchus captured from a different wild nest, but will pack boost if bred together.) This however causes them to be able to only mate once, and their eggs will need to be incubated in nests. Once tamed, a postosuchus nest will be able to be crafted (in a tamed postosuchus inventory) Their bulky nature allows them to be a beast of burden with high carry weight (600 weight at level one)

Bosses

Very good boss creatures. If wearing their saddle, the dragon will only deal damage as if they were herbivores. Can be an alternative choice to rexes, spinos, and even theris!)

Please add this creature! The swamps need some love, and this concept of a creature has been never before seen! Taming it also adds some use to the underrated dimetrodon!

P.S. the picture attached depicts the creature as quadrupedal, when in fact it is bipedal.

Lurking in the mountains and plains where therapods rule. Postasuchus lies in wait. With a devastating lunge and a bite That can trap large or medium Dino’s much like a beartrap, it is a beast to be feared. Those looking to tame this hulking tank should be wary. It has to bite ahold of your mount and in that short amount of time it is latched on. You must leap atop its back! Hold on tight and DONT LET GO. Feed the beast meat or kibble to gain its trust. Once tamed, Postos can tail pound, which deals torpor if aimed at heads, lunge, which bears semblance to Kapro attacks, and the star attraction? It’s vice bite. Postos require trust as a foundation of your friendship, and harming your posto by hand will make them weary of you, don’t worry! They will forgive you! Given enough treats. They spawn wherever large predators spawn and have rather good armor due to scale plating.

Please do note this art is mine if you do decide to share it!

Wild:
Postosuchus is a deadly hunter in the wild. Its natural enemies are Spinosaurus and Karkinos. It hunts in packs of up to 3 and immediately attacks the survivor on sight. Postosuchus has a special ability, because in his four-legged state, when he hits someone, he gets an effect that heals them in 10 seconds for 1% of the maximum health and 10% of the stamina of the attacked dino he is attacking. In its two-legged state, it applies an effect to the animal it hits, which robs the animal of 1% of its maximum life and 10% of its stamina over 10 seconds. Both of these effects stack up to 60 seconds.

Taming:
This reptile has a unique taming. Postosuchus cannot be tamed by being stunned. First you have to kill all other Postosuchus in the pack, because then the last Postosuchus will recognize your strength and stop attacking you. Now you have to give him Extraordinary Kibble. After that, Postosuchus will give you a target to kill to be able to feed him again. These targets are always animals that Postosuchus cannot defeat. After Postosuchus reaches a 99% bar, he wants you to give him an artifact. Any artifact is possible. Regardless of the level, only one artifact is required at a time. Postosuchus is then tamed

Tamed:
Postosuchus is a swift mount that can be very deadly in groups. You can equip an Artifact to Postosuchus to give him a 30% buff to damage and protection. It can be taken into boss arenas and can even damage bosses with its effects. However, the effect on bosses is limited to 1000 life per 10 seconds. Postosuchus is almost as strong as a Spino in health when tamed and slightly stronger than a Rex in damage.

Statistics:
Level 150:
Health: 3500
Damage: 220% [100% = 120 damage]
Stamina: 550
Oxygen = 550
Food = 3300
Torpor = 8000

Left mouse button = Bite x1 damage
Right mouse button = change positions
X = Neck Bite = 2x damage

Spawns:
The Island: Rivers
Scorched Earth: Everywhere except in the mountains
Aberration: Green Region Rivers
Extinction: Wasteland and desert biome
Gen2: Rockwell's Garden
All free DCL:
Spawns where Spino spawns
